I’m Janie Maddocks, a proud Maine native, wife and mother to a beautiful blended family, which includes my three stepsons- Wyatt, Riley and Jared, who are all grown and thriving – my son AJ, a Gardiner highschool student and my daughters Brittany and Madison. Owning a formal wear boutique has been a lifelong dream, and today I am thrilled to offer a place where style meets service, and where every detail matters. My goal is simple, to provide stunning formal wear at affordable prices while creating an inclusive, welcoming experience that meets all your event needs.
Recently married to my wonderful husband Jason, I understand just how meaningful life’s milestones are. Whether it’s a wedding, prom, gala, or special evening out, at my boutique, every woman is welcomed with warmth, honesty, and genuine care. Before becoming a licensed cosmetologist, Brittany gained valuable experience working in the formalwear industry. Based in Damariscotta, she spends several days each week at Lady J’s as a bridal consultant and trusted wedding hair specialist, excited to assist with all your bridal hair needs.
When not at Lady J’s, Brittany enjoys relaxing at her home in Randolph with her boyfriend, Jamie, and their dog, Tank.
